The Adobe Square project site is approximately 85.6 acres with 35.6 acres of planned commercial uses (office and retail), 46.1 acres of residential, and 3.9 acres of open space (parks and green ways). It currently has unimproved pathways that connect pedestrian activity from Arvin High School, the single and multi-family residential area to the west with ranch market, city hall, and other commercial stores along Highway 223.

Our proposal is iconic, multi-faceted, providing a range of varied uses, vernacular in its architecture, and reflective of the local culture. Commercial activities are an important social and economic facet of community life. In addition, these activities not only provide Arvin's citizens a place to shop for their daily necessities within their community, but also to enjoy a new variety of entertainment services that the residents eagerly seek. Our project seeks to create a development that balances everyday neighborhood shopping with a place of destination - lifestyle. Through a mixed-use master planned approach that will encompass all four major land use elements, Adobe Square will create a "community identity" that will define Arvin's character while paying tribute to the city's culture and heritage.
